The Sequential Behavior Pattern Analysis of Broiler Chickens Exposed to Heat Stress

Broiler productivity is dependent on a range of variables; among them, the rearing environment significant factor for proper well-being and productivity. Behavior indicates bird’s initial response to an adverse capable providing indicator in real-time. The present study aims identify characterize sequential pattern broilers’ behavior when exposed thermoneutral conditions (TNZ) thermal stress (HS) by constant heat. research was carried out climatic chamber with 18 broilers under heat three consecutive days (at different ages). database first analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Tukey test age, Boxplot graphs, then sequence behaviors evaluated generalized (GSP) algorithm. We were able predict behavioral patterns at temperatures assessed from sequences. Birds HS prostrate, identified shorter sequence, such as {Lying down, Eating} pattern, unlike TNZ ({Lying Walking, Drinking, Lying down}), which tendency increase (feeding locomotor activities) that guarantee better welfare birds. ‘Lying down’ followed laterally’ occurred only HS, represents stressful bird. Using mining sequences approach, we temporal relationships between broiler behavior, confirming need further studies use environmental controllers.
